This one hits me, and I think it's spot on. The more I reflect on it, the more I feel it to be true.
No secret: To put yourself out into the public eye is to sacrifice yourself to some slings and arrows. This especially seems to be true in the video game world these days, where you can put a bullseye on yourself for a difference of opinion on a console, game franchise or even a movie. He has said this speech many times
I used to get upset at a lot of it, especially that which described me as a person I'm very much not and/or that which made claims about me that could be disproven quickly. Sure with a phone call he never answers or just some lie he makes up to cover it do you really think I would expose this irrelevant man all this time if these things we not true???? WELL I GUESS you should stop reading hmmmm... I don't anymore. TIMES A DAY

People are always going to see in others what they feel in themselves.
If a person's reaction towards another is to think the worst of a simple
situation, it is because that is what that person feels inside. Since
they would take the low road in that same situation, they naturally feel
others would, too. Since they hold petty grudges, they automatically
believe that everyone else does as well. Since they are self-serving,
they assume the actions of others are also. IF he didn't care why does he post nearly every day he don't care for the post the size of a healthcare reform ????
Don't take it personally. I've found that causes distraction and second guessing, which is pretty goofy when you consider the fact that the issue really isn't with you... it's with themselves. DESPITE he takes it personal and his soon to revealed emails, pm's and calls and texts to others show OPPOSITE
Go out and be you. Do what you want to do... chase your goals and don't let the words of others get to you. They are more a reflection of what's in their hearts rather than what's in yours. Now he thinks he is a motivational speaker lol???

I seem to be causing a stir in some circles with the Archive Alley™ project and how I'm sharing the found information within various types of content.
It seems that some wish to claim that I'm purposely intending to shatter the narrative that exists around others in the video game world. This is simply not true, but when I find evidence that counters the stories we've all been told, I'm not going to ignore it.
Columbus was once credited with things that weren't historically accurate, either. He still has a federal holiday in his honor for discovering America, a story that has been proven untrue now many times over. - http://news.
So which would be worse of me - Ignoring indisputable evidence that
counters the narrative some people in the gaming world have created for
themselves.... or sharing that information when I find it, so that the
proper history can be told and the proper people credited?
It's nothing personal when I choose the latter... and I'll always choose the latter, because that's the right thing to do. Clearly bothered and worried cats will come out of the bag on his latest marketing scam
Patrick Scott Patterson I want to be crystal clear here: I don't believe most of the people who resemble the remarks here lied or embellished to obtain credit for themselves as the first this or the most famous that in video gaming... at least not at first. However, when they continue to claim things that have been disproven many times over, even when shown directly... I find it concerning and self-serving. If the true history of video gaming is to be told and celebrated, I have to go against the grain here and ensure that the proper people get the proper credit they are due. Decades from now, I know people will fully understand why. Of course not because it will make his LIES and scams look innocent to his dumb head in the clouds followers and people.....

Mike
Tyson's Punch-Out!! was one of my favorite games on the NES. Next to
Super Mario Bros., this was the game I probably spent more time on than
any other game. If he spent so much time on it, how come he has no record more than Glass Joe ??? where is his fastest completion and why not a tyson time???? better yet he flasly claimed he beat this title in Dallas with no video footage and no news paper ad or articles. Patrick Scott Patterson used to lie and claim he beat this game hitless and no damages and yet his resume of 798 scores mostly self entered indicate otherwise, see he claims it was all fun and didn't care but clearly here he cared, NOBODY PLAYS one or two games all day for fun and claims to be a semi finalist with a replica item and t shirt for fun... He clearly never beat the game let alone hitless and even the world champion today said that cannot be done. I myself a true world class player could not do it.. Steve Anthony Moore remembers, as does Stephanie Matern Cote's husband Tom.
That said, I missed this one. I never thought that the crowd held any visual cues like this. That said, I'll also note that there are things hidden in this game that I haven't seen people talk about yet, either. For that matter, there are a lot of things in a lot of games that people don't seem to know on any widespread basis.

Proof positive that there are still things hidden away in even the most
popular classic games. Never make the mistake of assuming you know it
all and/or that the internet has all the information posted already. Go
play those classics and seek out that which is still hidden away in
there.
That's the way we used to do it.
Notice the trend phone call email excuses and massive posts for anything he does wrong or is called out on !!!!!!!!!!!!

A
lot of questions have been coming in about what kinds of items are
presently being sought after or accepted in Archive Alley™. I think it
would be easier to say what ISN'T being accepted.
Presently, games are not among the items being sought after, nor are
the boxes and the like associated with them. Obviously, there are
exceptions to this rule when it comes to prototypes, review copies,
trade show examples and pre-production versions, such as the 3DO game
that was recently found.
While this might seem somewhat odd at a glance, the motivation behind it comes from the fact that the video game communities have done a great job preserving games and box art over the years, even if the term "donor cart" still creeps around out there. Thanks to emulation and a myriad of collectors, this stuff is already assuredly going to outlive us all.
We can't say that, however, about magazines, promotional items, newsletters, business cards, etc. There has been a far lesser effort in regards to that over time, and even less of an effort to use those materials to educate and expand the historical knowledge base of video game history. As they say in baseball, "hit 'em where they ain't"... so that's what Archive Alley™ is doing by aiming to preserve that which has been mostly ignored over time in comparison to the games themselves.
The history of our video games extends well beyond the games themselves. Those extensions are what Archive Alley™ exists for.
Preserving items should not be played or even placed on a dirty filthy carpet in a small 2x4 home gross
